Artist Statement

 My work is focused on traditionally  formed vessels and is inspired by Delft  pottery. These vessels are high fired with a cobalt blue glaze and will be designed with foliage. These flowers are carefully selected and each can be tied to specific places and memories that have all impacted me deeply. The style of the vessels is tied to the type of flower that is designed, giving the pieces a tied together and uniformed look. These pieces are all meant for use, they are all intended for human touch, whether that's for a simple display or for everyday use.
